Even though Lil Wayne has moved down a spot on the 2012 Hip-Hop Cash Kings list created by Forbes from last year, he still made nearly double of what he made in 2011. Weezy came #5 on the list earning $27 million that includes revenue from his latest album Tha Carter IV, his new clothing line TRUKFIT, and his partnership with Mountain Dew for the “DEWeezy” campaign.
The hip-hop artists who came above Tune in the list are: Dr. Dre with $110 million, Diddy with $45 million, Jay-Z with $38 million and Kanye West with $35 million. You can view the top 20 earners list after the jump below, which shows YMCMB’s Drake, Birdman and Nicki Minaj just behind Tunechi!
