Lil’ Wayne Misses Court Date, Rumored To Be In Rehab
Lil Wayne has missed his scheduled court date yesterday (August 26). Normally, this would be mentioned as a tidbit in passing, but some sources are reporting the rapper may have been a no show because he just checked himself into rehab.
Lil Wayne was scheduled to appear in a Yuma County, Arizona court room to answer to drug charges.
KYMA Channel 11 is reporting the rapper failed to appear because of an “undisclosed medical procedure.”
According to Mediatakeout.com, however, several sources are claiming “Lil Wayne checked himself into a Florida drug rehab over the weekend.”
The drug charges against Wayne stem from his arrest back in January when federal agents seized 41 grams of ecstasy, 105 grams of marijuana, and 29 grams of cocaine from him.
He is scheduled to show up to court again in October.
Wayne and his camp have not issued any statement addressing the rehab rumors.
