Cash Money Records CEO Birdman spoke exclusively to MTV.co.uk this week, revealing Lil Wayne’s album plans for 2009. And in a change to expected plans, it seems both Tha Carter 4 and Rebirth are due to drop this year, as Baby explained:
“Tha Carter 4 is out December 15th, we won’t release The Rebirth as a double CD like people are saying. Both will be out before 2010. We’re looking to take over the game completely, flood the market. The Grammy’s are ours next year.”
So it looks like we will still be getting Tha Carter IV, but just not as a double disc with Rebirth. I’m not sure what to think as we still haven’t heard a single from Carter 4 or Rebirth yet, but December 15th will be a crazy day if Rebirth, Tha Carter 4, and the Young Money Compilation all come out.
