T-Pain chatted with XXL magazine recently about his group with Lil Wayne called T-Wayne and if they will ever record another collaboration in the future. Even though the T-Wayne project has not been scrapped for definite, Pain believes that the idea was never serious in the first place and Tunechi could of been high when he said he wanted to do it.
When asked about if they will ever work together again, T-Pain answered that Weezy works with whoever is hot at the time and because he is currently taking a break, he doesn’t think Wayne would want to work with him. But when Pain decides to make a return to music, he will “definitely” work with Tune. He also finished the interview with the following message: “T-Wayne will never go away”.
T-Pain‘s next studio album, Stoicville: The Phoenix, will be released next year. Hopefully we will see a T-Wayne appearance on there!
“He may have been high when he said he wanted to do it in the first place.”
“Wayne has these moments where he does what he does. He fucks with who is hot. If I am taking a break, which means I ain’t really hot anymore. Of course, I don’t hope on working with him when I am taking a break. But, we definitely doing it again. T-Wayne will never go away.”
