Lil Wayne has announced that American football linebacker Reggie Northrup is the first athlete to sign to his Young Money Sports business venture, who will now handle his marketing and branding.
The news was confirmed when Weezy posted up a picture (above) on his Instagram page, as well as when Reggie explained in an interview with Tallahassee Democrat newspaper about how his relationship with Tunechi started and why Tune wanted to work with him.
“Lil Wayne seen something in me. He’s seen me play. He wanted to start something up, and get involved in the sports world. He’s a big fan of sports. He liked my game, and they wanted to do something with me. They’ve been supporting me through this process, and I’m blessed to be affiliated with them.”
