We heard the CDQ version of Lil Wayne‘s “Pray To The Lord” track last week, and now the producer of the song STREETRUNNER has released a mixed and mastered version of Wayne‘s “Heavenly Father“.
Even though Tunechi‘s vocals are exactly the same as the “Pray To The Lord” record, “Heavenly Father” includes a totally different beat from STREETRUNNER. You will also recognize it as the same song that Fat Joe rapped over on his The Darkside Vol. 1 album in 2010, which just included the Tune hook. I’ll let SR explain it better:
“‘Heavenly Father’ is a alternate version to ‘Pray To The Lord’. I produced this version to give the song more of a epic feel. The ‘Heavenly Father’ track with just the hook featuring Lil Wayne later went on to become a Fat Joe song on The Darkside Vol. 1 album titled ‘Heavenly Father’. Here’s the mixed and mastered solo version of Lil Wayne’s ‘Heavenly Father’.”
Hit the jump to check out the solo alternate version of Weezy‘s “Pray To The Lord“, which is of course “Heavenly Father“. It was also mixed and mastered by Tommy Peluso!
