Ice T recently appeared on the Holdin Court Podcast to chop it up with the host Big Court.
From the 3:55 mark of their interview, which you can watch below, Ice claims Lil Wayne and Future were supposed to perform live during the hip-hop turning 50-years-old tribute at this year’s GRAMMY Awards, which took place in Los Angeles on February 5th.
There was many rappers, such as Busta Rhymes, Grandmaster Flash, Lil Uzi Vert, LL Cool J, Method Man, Missy Elliott, Public Enemy and Scarface etc, who did perform live at hip-hop’s 50th anniversary set during the 65th annual GRAMMYs, but due to “something happening on the red carpet”, it didn’t turn out to be for Wayne.
