While on the red carpet at the 2023 BET Awards last month, Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur from AllHipHop caught up with Warren G.
Towards the end of their interview (6:10 mark), which you can watch below, Warren announced him and Lil Wayne have a collaboration on the way that will be called “All Alone“.
The West Coast hip-hop legend also revealed that this is the first time Wayne has entered into the G-Funk genre (gangsta funk is a sub-genre of gangsta rap that arose in the 1980s).
“Me and Lil Wayne got a record together… it’s coming, it’s called ‘All Alone’. [The] first time Wayne did some records over some G-Funk sh*t. It’s dope as f*ck, I cant wait for people to hear it, it’s dope. People are gonna be like: ‘damn that n*gga and Warren, they got verses of the year.’ That’s how dope it is!”
