Last night (September 12th), Lil Wayne opened up the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards by performing “Uproar” and his new single “Kat Food” live.
This year’s VMAs also celebrated the 50th anniversary of hip-hop by putting a 10-minute performance from Weezy, Doug E. Fresh, Grandmaster Flash, LL Cool J, Nicki Minaj, Run-DMC, and Slick Rick.
For this part, Nicki rapped the first two bars from her “Truffle Butter” verse: “Thinkin’ out loud, I must have about a milli’ on me right now; And I ain’t talkin’ about that Lil Wayne record” before Tunechi then came out to perform his “A Milli” song live. Check it all out below!
