To celebrate the 50-year birthday of hip-hop, the Vice President of the United States of America, Kamala Harris, invited Lil Wayne and many more rappers to her home in Washington, D.C. to perform live on September 9th.
During the hip-hop 50th anniversary concert, Tunechi performed “6 Foot, 7 Foot“, “Mrs. Officer” (which went viral on social media due to Kamala‘s relationship with the criminal justice system and law enforcement), “The Motto“, and more songs live for everyone in attendance.
You can check out some footage of Weezy performing live at Harris‘ home for the 400-invited guests below. Other rappers that performed at the Hip-Hop 50 event that was curated by Live Nation Urban and the Recording Academy’s Black Music Collective were: Common, Doug E. Fresh, Fat Joe, Jeezy, MC Lyte, Remy Ma, Slick Rick, Too $hort, and more!
