DJ Khaled was a recent guest on former American football athlete Shannon Sharpe‘s “Club Shay Shay” podcast.
While on the show, Khaled talked all about his “God Did” single featuring Lil Wayne, JAY-Z, Rick Ross, John Legend and Fridayy, and revealed how it all came together, as well as all of them performing it live at the 65th annual Grammy Awards.

The record executive revealed Tunechi sent his “God Did” verse back the following morning, and mentioned that both Weezy and Rozay recorded their verses before either of them even knew Jay was going to be featured on the song with a 4 minute verse.
Khaled also pointed out that the two of them then didn’t even want to re-do their verses once they knew the Brooklyn rapper was on the record. Check out exactly what he said in the clip below!
