Not only will Lil Wayne be on stage during this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend, he has also been announced as an assistant coach for the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.
Weezy and 50 Cent will be swapping a microphone for a basketball as they are both going to serve as assistant coaches on opposite sidelines in the 2024 All-Star Celebrity Game.
The Celebrity Game will be taking place next Friday on February 16th from 7PM EST at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. It will be broadcasted on ESPN.
Tunechi will help coach “Team Stephen A” with sports personality Stephen A. Smith and WNBA athlete A’ja Wilson while 50 will help coach “Team Shannon” with former NFL athletes Shannon Sharpe and Peyton Manning.
When this news was announced, Fiddy had a hilarious comment to share on social media: “I’m coaching, you know my team is gonna win. Lil Wayne is probably gonna get high and not show up! LOL.”
