Rich The Kid recently sat down with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN on their Drink Champs podcast to discuss his career.
Around the 13:00 mark, Rich shared details about his 2021 collaboration album with Lil Wayne, Trust Fund Babies.
He revealed that the project came together just weeks after releasing his joint project with NBA Youngboy, following a personal call from Weezy himself.
The Rich Forever Music CEO also talked about how quickly Tunechi would send back verses for songs he sent him and reflected on the massive influence Tune has had on his career. Watch the full interview below!
“I been looking up to Lil Wayne since I was a jet. His mixtapes got me through so much in life, juggin’ and finessin’ to his sh*t. It’s crazy to have an album with Wayne, going from listening to his CDs on the train. I was like: ‘damn, one day I want to be like Wayne’ to him asking me to do an album is definiately a blessing.”
