On Saturday, November 2nd, Lil Wayne‘s seventh annual Lil Weezyana Fest returned to New Orleans at the Smoothie King Center. This year’s music festival brought unforgettable moments for us fans and legendary honors for Wayne in his hometown.
During the event, Weezy brought out special guest Flau’jae Johnson to the stage and treated everyone to a Hot Boys reunion with Juvenile, Turk, and B.G., alongside a Big Tymers reunion with Birdman and Mannie Fresh.
Adding to the night’s excitement, Tunechi addressed the crowd about his Super Bowl snub and then received two prestigious honors. Mayor LaToya Cantrell presented him the Key to the City of New Orleans, and Master P awarded him with a special Career Achievement Award, announcing February 6th and 7th as “Lil Wayne Days”. The No Limit Records founder also revealed plans for a NOLA Walk of Fame, with Tune among its first inductees!
