On Saturday, December 14th, Lil Wayne attended the 2024 Heisman Trophy ceremony at the Jazz At Lincoln Center concert hall in New York.
Originally scheduled to perform live at Tahoe Live in California on the same evening, Wayne appeared to have opted out of the show to be part of this event.
Sitting front row, Weezy watched as Travis Hunter was announced as the winner of the 2024 Heisman Trophy. Furthermore, he sat alongside Deion Sanders, Shedeur Sanders, Travis‘ mom Ferrante Edmonds, and his current fiancée Leanna Lenee.
During his acceptance speech, Hunter gave a special shout out to Tunechi, thanking him for coming to support him. He also shared that he wasn’t familiar with Tune‘s music until his fiancée introduced him. And now, songs like “6 Foot, 7 Foot“, are a staple in his pre-game playlist.
