Lil Wayne virtually sat down with “The Skip Bayless Show” yesterday, which you can watch below.
During their conversation, Skip mentioned he’s “baffled” and “angry” with the NFL that Wayne wasn’t chosen to headline the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show in his hometown of New Orleans. Weezy admitted that he’s still not over the snub and shared why he thinks he didn’t get the spot. He even revealed he won’t make an appearance at the event because he’ll be out of the country that day.
Bayless also brought up Kendrick Lamar‘s line from “Wacced Out Murals“:
“Used to bump Tha Carter III, I held my Rollie chain proud; Irony, I think my hard work let Lil Wayne down; Whatever though!”
Tunechi responded that he hadn’t heard the song or Kendrick‘s lyrics, but offered his thoughts on what Lamar might mean. He made it clear there’s no beef between them, saying they’re “cool” and have spoken recently, with Tune even telling K. Dot to “kill” that Super Bowl performance!
