2 Chainz, Larry June, and The Alchemist recently stopped by Power 105.1 FM’s The Breakfast Club to chat with DJ Envy, Charlamagne, and Jess Hilarious about their new album, Life Is Beautiful.
At the 12:30 mark, Tity Boi discussed working “fast” with Lil Wayne and how that made him a “better artist”. And then at 33:45, he took a trip down memory lane and revealed how he first met Wayne—before Hurricane Katrina.
Back then, Chainz was selling cannabis and using the money to book studio time. One day, while recording, Birdman and Cash Money Records were in another room and they popped in, looking to buy some pot.
Long story short, 2 Chainz then ended up traveling to New Orleans with them as they owed him $900. That’s when he met Weezy F Baby for the first time, and they smoked gas together.
