According to Lil Wayne‘s manager and best friend, Cortez Bryant, everything is currently good between Wayne and Cash Money Records. Tez also said that they will not be leaving labels and that Tyga is “good” too.
If you missed the news yesterday, Weezy went on Twitter to announce that Birdman and Cash Money will not let him release his Tha Carter V album, as well as that he wants off the label and nothing to do with them, because he feels like a prisoner.
It’s crazy because in October, Baby mentioned in an interview that he has nothing to do with album push-backs, he lets Tunechi do whatever he wants to do, and he lets him put out an album whenever he wants to. You can read that interview here.
Anyways, hit the jump to watch TMZ ask Cortez about the situation as he was leaving Penthouse club last night!
