While we continue to wait on the upcoming release of Tha Carter V, it looks like Lil Wayne will be entering the video game business after his new venture announcement with mobile/technology company UTILITY.
Weezy went on Twitter yesterday to share a preview of an upcoming game called “Sqvad Up” that included him doing a voice-over: “Welcome to Hollygrove, my town. Sqvad Up coming soon!”
There aren’t too many details about the game just yet, but it seems like it will be an app based on skateboarding that can be played on mobile devices as it will be released through Google Play for Android and the iTunes App Store for Apple.
You can check out the video announcement of “Sqvad Up” after the jump below. I will be sure to update this post if anymore updates surface online! Who is looking forward to playing it?
UPDATE: The game, which will include Tune‘s fellow skaters Tyreek Morrison, Evan Hernandez, Yosef “YoYo” Ratleff, Andre Colbert, Jereme Knibbs, and Edgar Benitez, will let users to skate around New Orleans while dodging obstacles and hazards. It will also be available for download on June 10th!
