Tomorrow (February 5th), Lil Wayne has been announced as one of the live performers for the 65th annual Grammy Awards at the Crypto.com Arena (formerly known as the Staples Center) in Los Angeles, California.
This year’s GRAMMYs will be honoring hip-hop’s 50th anniversary with a huge performance featuring Weezy, Big Boi, Busta Rhymes with Spliff Star, De La Soul, DJ Drama, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Missy Elliott, Future, GloRilla, Grandmaster Flash, Grandmaster Mele Mel & Scorpio/Ethiopian King, Ice-T, Lil Baby, Method Man, Nelly, Public Enemy, Queen Latifah, Rahiem, Rakim, RUN-DMC, Salt-N-Pepa and Spinderella, Scarface, Swizz Beatz, The LOX, and Too $hort.
The live performance will be directed and produced by Questlove, and LL Cool J will be introducing everyone (as well as performing himself). The music will be provided by The Roots and Black Thought will be narrating.
Be sure to tune into the awards show tomorrow night, which will be streaming live on CBS. It has now been confirmed that one of the songs Tunechi is going to perform is “God Did” with DJ Khaled, JAY Z and Rick Ross!
