T-Pain is the star for the latest issue of Billboard magazine and for his cover story, he shared stories behind some of his biggest hits.
Among these classics are his collaborations with Lil Wayne on “Can’t Believe It” and “Got Money,” sparking fond memories of their joint project, T-Wayne. According to Pain, he says the collab project “was a good time for both of us.”
In his interview, which you can watch below, the Tallahassee music artist reveals T-Wayne initially faced delays due to legal issues, recalls first meeting Drake during his and Tunechi‘s “I Am Music” tour, and reflects on working with Weezy:
“Working with Lil Wayne was awesome. That’s when we were the dynamic duo, people couldn’t stop us and we were taking over the whole industry.”
