In celebration of #ThrowbackThursday today, here is some rare footage of Lil Wayne and the Cash Money Millionaires on BET’s 106 & Park music video show back on July 27, 2001.
Tunechi, along with Birdman, Turk, and B.G., appeared on the show to debut his “Everything” music video and to promote his latest studio album at the time, Lights Out.
During the show, Weezy chatted with hosts A.J. Calloway and Marie “Free” Wright about working on Lights Out, what he does on his days off, and his long-term goal of achieving longevity (which he has definitely accomplished).
Additionally, he discussed the emotional challenge of recording “Everything” as a tribute to his late father, Reginald McDonald aka Rabbit. Check it all out below!
