As expected, Joe Budden stirred up drama with false claims, showing just how far people will go for clickbait and views—and how quickly others run with it.
In case you missed it, Joe alleged on his podcast yesterday that Lil Wayne called Kendrick Lamar after being name-dropped on the track “Wacced Out Murals” from GNX, but Kendrick didn’t answer. He also claimed Wayne then headed into the booth to record a diss track aimed at K Dot.
The hosts on the podcast even threw in some nonsense about Eminem dissing Weezy on his “No Love” verse, which is equally laughable.
Here’s what Budden said (as I won’t be posting the clip):
“I’m hearing that somebody picked up the phone, tried to call and see what the energy was. I’m hearing that Kendrick didn’t answer. If I’m calling you rapper to rapper and you don’t answer… now I’m going in the booth. You have until I get in that booth to hit me back. I’m hearing that Wayne went in the booth.”
Tunechi‘s longtime engineer and current manager, Fabian Marasciullo, wasn’t having any of it. Furthermore, he took to his Instagram Story to respond with a single emoji: the “Cap” emoji (see below). Enough said!
